General Motors is recalling more than 55,000 model year 2016-2017 Chevy Spark cars because the front passenger airbags could harm occupants.
If the front passenger seat is occupied by a young child not wearing a seat belt, the airbag may cause neck injuries.
GM didn't release more details other than the automaker doesn't know how to fix the problem and is currently working on a solution, so there is no clue when the recall will begin.
Owners with questions should call 800-222-1020 and ask about recall number 17199.
CarComplaints.com will update this page when federal safety regulators release details about the Chevrolet Spark recall.
