Porsche is recalling nearly 51,500 Macan, Macan S, Macan GTS and Macan Turbo SUVs with problems related to the fuel pumps.
Porsche didn't say which model years are affected other than all the recalled Macans were built between March 4, 2014, and April 14, 2017.
The automaker says hairline cracks can appear on the filter flange of the fuel pump and allow fuel to seep out.
A driver will probably notice the problem due to a smell of fuel, and while gas hitting an ignition source is never a good thing, Porsche says no incidents have been reported.
Porsche dealers will inspect SUVs and seal or replace the flanges as necessary.
CarComplaints.com will update this page when the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration releases information about the Porsche Macan recall.
