General Motors is recalling 166 model year 2020 Chevrolet Equinox SUVs with rear brake calipers that may have been built with an incorrect lubricant.
This can cause the brakes to drag and the rubber seals to swell. GM says the brake pads may overheat and cause fires.
GM dealers will replace the rear brake calipers, including the brake hose gaskets and brake fluid and lubricant, but the automaker doesn't know when the recall will begin.
