A Ford Explorer recall has been issued for 160 model year 2018 SUVs equipped with 2.3-liter or 3.5-liter GTDI engines.
The Ford Explorers have fuel pressure sensors that weren't built correctly, resulting in fuel leaks and possible fires.
No crashes, fires or injuries have been reported, but dealers will need to replace the fuel line assemblies in Explorers built in Chicago between July 29-31, 2018.
There are 144 recalled Explorers in the U.S. and 16 in Canada.
Ford Explorer customers may call 866-436-7332 and refer to recall number 18S35.
