Toyota is recalling about 74,000 trucks and SUVs in two recalls to fix problems with the seats and stability control systems.
2017 Toyota Tundra Recall
About 8,800 trucks are recalled because bolts that hold the second-row seats may not have been tightened properly.
Toyota says one or more of the bolts may be loose where the left rear seat attaches to the floorboard. This could leave an occupant in trouble in the event of a crash.
The automaker says owners will be notified about the recall sometime in March 2018 so dealers can properly tighten the bolts.
2018 Toyota Sequoia and Tundra Recall
Toyota is recalling about 65,000 Sequoia SUVs and Tundra trucks because the stability control systems may switch off. The automaker says problems with the vehicle diagnostics can cause the stability systems to shut down, in addition to affecting other unnamed functions of the vehicles.
Drivers will see warning lights and hear warning chimes if the problem occurs, something Toyota says can be fixed by updating the electronic control unit software.
The Toyota Sequoia and Tundra recall should begin in March 2018.
Toyota didn't say more about the recalls, but CarComplaints.com will update this page when the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration releases information.
